Grimm, Forrest R., age 86, of Golden Valley. Retired from 3M, multiple patents and contributed to design of Alvin Submarine prior to 3M, also a tenor banjo player and jazz guitarist. Survived by wife, Dorothy; daughter, Pamela (Victor) Fabano; son, Roger; grandchildren, Eric and Andrea. Service Monday 11 AM, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 3801 Wooddale Ave., St. Louis Park. Visitation Sunday 2-4 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. one hour prior to service at the church. Interment Ft. Snelling. Memorials preferred to the church.
