Florence M. Rischette

Florence M. Rischette, age 80, of Hastings died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at her home. Florence was born March 31, 1929 in Hastings to Clarence and Naomi (Estes) Hicks. She married William P. Rischette in Hastings on April 10, 1948. A busy homemaker, Florence also enjoyed crafts and loved to cook. She thoroughly enjoyed her family, and people in general. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, daughter Gail, and siblings Jimmy, Chuck, Mona, and Willy. Florence is survived by her daughter Norma Swanson; sons Michael (Carol), Kent (Chris) and Lance (Deborah), all of Hastings; alsoten grandchildren andtwelve great-grandchildren; seven siblings Clarence �Clem�, Dick, Marvin �Skip�, David, Jerry, Judy, and Barb. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 22, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. Fifteenth St., Hastings with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers are grandsons Willy, Jon, Joel, Matthew, Alex, and nephew, Duane.
