Ezekiel Ambruse
age 84, of Minneapolis, passed away May 4th. Preceded in death by wife, Lois; parents, five sisters and two brothers. He proudly served his country as a Marine for 20 years (semper fi). Ezekiel was a member of AA for 36 years where he held many leadership positions. He had 36 years of sobriety at Alcoholics Anonymous 2218 Minneapolis where he was a sponsor to many. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, volunteering his time at bake sales and other charity events. Survived by daughter, Cheryl; and son-in-law, David Lockwood; sister, Marie Hall; and many nieces and nephews. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed. Visitation Tues. May 10th 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. Interment Ft. Snelling Wed. May 11th at 10:00 a.m. Memorials preferred.
