Evelyn Margaret Capeti

Evelyn M. Capeti, age 97, of Hastings passed peacefully April 17, 2013 at Regina Medical Center. Evelyn was born July 6, 1915 in St. Paul, MN to William and Hattie (Bastel) Rantz. She had worked in retail and married John Joseph Capeti on September 10, 1935 at St. Vincent Catholic Church in St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; one brother and two sisters. Evelyn is survived by adaughter Judith "Judy"(Sam Johnson) Capeti; son John �Jack� (Linda) Capeti; seven grandchildren Kenneth (Christi) Capeti, Loren (Kristin) Capeti, Jason (Nancy) Capeti, Kerri Capeti, Tim Gegen, Jon (Shelly) Gegen, Julie (Mike) Foster; ten great-grandchildren; also niece and nephew. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. Fifteenth St., Hastings with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment will follow in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ken Capeti, Loren Capeti, Jason Capeti, Tim Gegen, Jon Gegen and Jim Rantz.
