Eugene N Klem

Eugene N. Klem, age 74 of Rosemount, born May 6, 1936 in Pembina, ND to Nicholas and Dora Klem, passed away October 14, 2010 in the same way he lived his life; peacefully and graciously after his private and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Eugene served a 20 year career in the US Navy and also worked 19 years for the FAA. Eugene was also a member of the Rosemount VFW Post 65. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jarvis Klem. Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Kathleen; children: Christine (Steven) McLain, David Klem and Cheryl (Gregory) Frederick; 7 grandchildren: Nickolas, Joshua, Dillon, Adam, Mitchell, Zachary and Julissa; 3 sisters; 3 brothers and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 19, 2010 with visitation one hour before at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church, 151 East Co. Rd. 42, Burnsville. Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
