Eugene J. Becker

Eugene Becker, ofHastings,died accidentally November 14, 2008. He was 71 years old.He is survived by his wife Pauline (Bauer) Becker of Hastings, 3 children Thomas (Brenda) Becker, Gary (Linda) Becker and Sandra (Kraig) Kerstetter, all of Hastings; grandchildren Josh, Jeremy, Samantha and Jacob Becker, Jacqueline and Alicia Kerstetter; great grandchildren Bailey and Logan. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Ann (Ron) Novotny and Martha Nygaard and a brother Richard (Denise) Becker all of Hastings; 2 sisters-in-law Shirley Becker and Donna Becker.He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Philomena (Meier) Becker, 2 brothers Peter and Gerald as well as a granddaughter Sarah Becker and a brother-in-law Carl Nygaard.Visitation will be Monday, November 17, 2008 from 4-8 pm at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East 7th Street, Hastings and also 1 hour prior to the Funeral Mass which will be 9:30 am Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W 15th Street, Hastings.Interment will take place in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish cemetery.
