Hamlin, Eugene H. “Gene” Jr.

Age 78 of Burnsville, passed away on Sept. 19, 2019. Gene was born in Minneapolis on March 6, 1941 and was a resident of the Twin Cities area his entire life. Preceded in death by his father, Gene Sr. and his mother, Dorothy. Gene is survived by his sister, Kathy (Mike Murphy) Crum; brother, Jerry (Jari) Hamlin; nieces, Jennifer (Dan) Nichols, Maren (Pete) Barrington, Betsy Willey Hamlin and Karin (Joe) Andrade; nephew, Chris Crum; and 9 grand nieces and nephews. Gene was at all times caring, humorous and involved. He was a great brother, uncle, neighbor and friend. Our thanks to the staff of Minnesota Hospice for their care. Memorial Service at 11am on Thurs., Oct. 3, 2019 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. Inurnment Lakewood Cemetery.
