Eugene E. "Gene" Kimmes, age 83 of Hampton, died peacefully at The Pillars Hospice in Oakdale on Monday morning, December 8, 2025.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Trier, with Father Michael Tix officiating. Private family interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2025, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings. There will not be a visitation at church on Saturday, but all are invited to a reception that will be held following the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, Gene's family requests memorials to the family's choice in his memory.
