Ethel M. Nicholls

Ethel M. Nicholls, age 86, of Hastings died October 27, 2010 at Augustana Health Care Center. Ethel was born November 26, 1923 in Warren, MN to Kurt and Ruth Olga (Bodell) Malek. She was a graduate of Warren High School, and married Harold E. Nicholls on November 26, 1942 in Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister Lillie Malek; and great-grandchild Angel Miller. Ethel is survived by her children Julie (Robert) Seiver of Roseville, CA, Jeffery (Jane) Nicholls of Lake Elmo, Jay (Patricia) Nicholls of Hastings; grandchildren Jacinda Seiver Dear (Scott), Lisa Seiver Raud (Juhan), Troy Seiver (Sally), Leslie Nicholls Miller (Sean), Morgan Nicholls Reames (Todd), Kelly, Matthew, Corey, and Michael Nicholls; great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Megan Dear, Alexandra and Holly Seiver, Boston and Bryce Miller. The Funeral Servicewill be held at 11AM Monday, November 1, 2010 at Hastings United Methodist Church, 615 W. Fifteenth St., Hastings. The visitation will be from 4-7PM Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E.Seventh St., Hastings,and also one hour prior to the Monday service. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery. Memorials are preferred.
