Emily C. Fanum

Emily Christine Fanum, age 88 of Hastings died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Augustana Health Care Center. Emily was born July 23, 1925 in St. Paul, MN to Fred and Barbara (Camanada) Balzart. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Robert, William and Joseph Balzart. Emily is survived by her son William "Bill" (Kari Jo) Fanum and grandchildren Hannah and Joseph; Bills father Lloyd Fanum, all of Hastings; also by many other family and friends. The Memorial Service, officiated by Gordon Gathright will be held 11 AM Monday, October 7, 2013 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
