Emil H. Substad
Age 95 of Minneapolis, born May 23, 1918 in Duluth, MN to Emil & Inga Substad, passed away peacefully June 29, 2013. Founder and owner of Substad Plumbing and Heating, Co. in South Minneapolis. Preceded in death by brothers, Arnold and Marvin. Emil will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty; children: Dan (Sue), Dave (Sue), Joan (Bruce), Betty Lea; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; family and friends. Funeral service, 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 2, 2013 with visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. Emil will be laid to rest at Acacia Park Cemetery, Mendota Heights.
