Eldon Stauffer

Charles Eldon Stauffer, age 82 of Rosemount, born Aug. 15, 1927 in Mapleton, MN to Milton and Jennie Stauffer, passed away peacefully at The Lodge on Summit Oaks on Dec 16, 2009. He is preceded in death by brothers: Marvin, Homer and Wendell and sisters, Edythe and Arlene. Eldon is survived by wife of 62 years, Dorothy (nee Kreitz); children: Chuck (Lori), Joan (Bob) Baker, Linda (Dean) Hedberg, Russ (Lynn), David (Lynette) and Doug (Kim); 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation is 4-7 PM, TONIGHT, at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, and also one hour before the service at church. Funeral service is 11:00 AM, Friday, December 18 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd, Apple Valley. Interment Lebanon City Cemetery, Apple Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Shepherd of the Valley Organ Fund, Fairview Hospice or John J. Wielgus Hospice Foundation.
