Eldon E. Seifert

Eldon E. Seifert, age 101 of Prescott, went home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with his beloved wife, Margaret on Friday morning, January 15, 2021. He was born on April 17, 1919, to Vincent and Henrietta Seifert. Eldon was the youngest of eight children. He married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Anderson, and had four daughters and celebrated almost sixty-five years of marriage. Eldon was a very gentle, kind-hearted, generous man who was known for his love for our Lord, his family, and his friends. He enjoyed his 101 years on this earth working hard on the farm in Ellsworth, WI, and various jobs after that. Eldon and Margaret loved to travel and lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota, California, and Arizona. He left this world being loved by everyone who knew him because he lived his life to the fullest with a great sense of humor and positive attitude. He is survived by his four daughters, Kay (Chuck) Dionne, Karen (Ed) Dorsch, Karyl Ripley, and Kathy Kreuser; five grandchildren, Jon Dorsch, Jennifer (Toby) Shaw, Nicole (Eddie) Strom, Lori (Charlie) Mann, Katie (Ryan) Rasmussen; ten great grandchildren, Brayden (Strom) Aubrey, Annie (Shaw) Lane, Addie (Mann), RJ, Ryley, Reid, Grace, and Ryder (Rasmussen); and by other relatives and friends. Eldon was preceded in death by his wife; parents; six brothers and one sister; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's ~ Big River in rural Prescott at a later date. Interment will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
