Elaine Kathryn Mccready

Elaine K. McCready, age 93 of Hastings died August 11, 2014 at the Regina Assisted Living Facility in Hastings. Elaine was born March 10, 1921 in Hastings to Percy and Gladys (Rosenquist) McCallum. She was a Hastings High School graduate, class of 1938 and married Paul J. McCready in St. Paul on May 26, 1952. Elaine loved flowers and gardening, enjoyed needlepoint and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Paul. Elaine is survived by her daughter Kathleen (Dale) Wolpers of Savage, MN; granddaughter Cayla Wolpers of Minneapolis; brother Keith McCallum of Prescott, WI; also a niece and nephews. The Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Ralph Olsen will be held 11 AM Friday, August 15 at St. Philips Lutheran Church, 1401 West Fifteenth St, Hastings. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
