Elaine B. Evans

Elaine B. Evans, age 84 of Hastings died July 26, 2012 at the Augustana Health Care Center. Elaine was born May 28, 1928 in Eden Valley, MN to Paul and Margaret (Abeln) Theisen. She married Charles Henry Evans on September 3, 1955 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in St. Paul. Elaine had worked as a bookkeeper at a church prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles on January 21, 1994; infant daughter Susan; and her siblings Lawrence, Don and Rosella Theisen. Elaine is survived by her three sons David (Joyce) of Hastings, Donald (Diana) of Anoka, and Douglas Evans of Sauk Centre, MN; also fourgrandchildren Peggy, Jenny, Robbie, and Debbie; a great-grandson Jack; and her sister Kathleen Nelson. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Cole Kracke will be held 10:30AM Monday, July 30, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. Fifteenth St., Hastings with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Theisen, Jeremy Henry, Janet Jansen, Joyce Jansen, Jake Engnell, Mike Hielle.
