Einer A. Theodorson, age 73, of Hastings, died Sunday surrounded by family, at his home after a long battle with ALS.He was born January 23, 1938 in Hastings to Einer Elsie (Wenzel) Theodorson.Einer was a retired longtime Hastings Police OfficerHe is survived by his wife JoAnn, children Allen Theodorson, Tamera (Tom) Sophy, Melanee (Terry) Lee all of Hastings, grandchildren Lacey Lindsay Theodorson, Tyana Sophy, Dakota Theodorson and Brittany Lee, sister Ruthann Lewis of Circle Pines and mother-in-law Myrtle Nelson of Hastings.Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E 7th St., Hastings and also on Tuesday 1 hour prior to the funeral.Funeral services officiated by Rev. Doug Duinwill be heldTuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 615 West 15th Street, Hastings.Interment will be later at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.
