Eileen K. Schlosser

Eileen K. Schlosser, age 84 of Hastings, died peacefully on Tuesday evening, October 27, 2020, at Regina Senior Living in Hastings. Eileen Kathryn, the daughter of Nicholas and Leona (Schaffer) Schiller, was born on August 3, 1936, in Goodhue County, Minnesota. On April 21, 1956, she was united in marriage to Donald R. "Don" Schlosser. They were blessed with four children and sixty-four years of wonderful memories and marriage prior to his recent passing on May 31, 2020. Eileen was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking and canning. She was a gentle soul that would do anything to help her family and friends. Eileen was also a very spiritual woman, and a longtime member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dona Tiller Brown; sister-in-law, Lorraine Schlosser; mother and father in law, Arnold and Elizabeth Schlosser; and recently by her husband, Don. Eileen is survived by her children, Kathy (Todd) Betterley, Bruce (Lisa) Schlosser, and David Schlosser (Rachele Gunter); nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren with another one due in April; and by many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Cemetery in Hastings. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Lupus Foundation, American Heart Association, or to the donor's choice in memory of Eileen. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
