Bonfig,Edwin J., age 87, of Cottage Grove, passed away April 6, 2009 at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul. Preceded in death by wife, Marion; parents; and sisters. Survived by sons, Jim (Linda) Bonfig; Brian (Connie) Bonfig; daughter, Mary Bonfig Doherty (Bill); grandchildren, Jason and Brandon Bonfig; Patrick, Sharon and John Doherty; and Ronda Marino; great-grandchildren, Blake and Brady Bonfig. Memorial Gathering, Saturday, April 11, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring Street in Hastings. Private Interment at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
