Edward Paul Cyr

Edward Paul Cyr, age 87, formerly of Forest Lake died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Crest View Lutheran Home in Columbia Heights, MN.Edward was born August 24, 1923 in Minneapolis to Ben and Hortense (Dillenbourg) Cyr. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and had worked for HoneywellCorporation prior to his retirement.He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Bernice and 2nd wife Veronica; brother Frank Cyr; sisters Rene Foster, Marie Huber, and Antoinette Sharon. Edward is survived by many nieces and nephews.A Graveside Service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery,with full military honors provided by the Fort Snelliing Memorial Rifle Squad will be held at 1pm on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Assembly Area #2.
