He died�at the Lodge in Elko, MN. Edward was born in So. St. Paul, MN on 4/29/1925 to Robert E. & Minnie (nee Bortz) Smith. His parents, and wife Elvera (Chandler) Zeien Smith preceded him in death. He is survived by�7 children, David (Nancy) Smith, Carol VanKempen, Gerald (Cindy) Smith, Jane (Jim) Blair, Robert (Carol) Smith, Edward Smith, & Larry (Jackie) Smith; also 6 grandchildren & 2 sisters.
