Edward B. Ingstad, Sr.,
age 100 of Apple Valley, born May 5, 1906 in Jessie Lake, MN, passed away December 6, 2006. Edward was a logger, a fishing guide, a coal miner and a custodial engineer with Republic Airlines. He is preceded in death by parents, Thorvald & Bertha Ingstad; brothers: Carl, Bernard, Tom, Art and Al Ingstad; sisters: Jessie Braden, Florence Ingstad and Mabel Ulicsni; and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Ingstad . Edward will be deeply missed by his wife of 69 years, Lillian; daughter, Joanne (Leigh) Raberge; son, Edward B. Ingstad, Jr.; grandchildren: Scott, Todd (Kim), Kevin (Soniya), Cheryl, and Keith (Shannon); 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helene Ingstad and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service is 1pm, Monday, December 11, 2006 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Apple Valley with visitation 2 hours before the service at the church. Interment Pleasantview in Burnsville, MN. Memorials may be made to the church.
