Edith J. Chamberlain

Edith J. Chamberlain, age 87 of Hastings died February 19, 2014 at Augustana Health Care Center. Edith was born December 3, 1926 in Hastings to George and Esther (Wilhelm) Stoudt. She was a Hastings High School graduate, class of 1944 and married Harold B. Chamberlain on June 4, 1949 in Hastings. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold; siblings Ruth Chamberlain, Elsie Powers, Paul Stoudt and Helen Komorouski. Edith is survived by her five sons Morris (Dottie) of Hastings, Roger (Diane) of North Oaks, Kevin (Faith) of Hastings, Mark (Shari) of Pine Island and Bruce (Melissa) of Minneapolis; also ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; also four siblings Anna Hughes of Lincoln, NE, John (Charlotte) Stoudt of Hastings, Marian Finegan of Mound and George Stoudt of Hastings. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Christopher Kneen will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 22 at United Methodist Church of Hastings, 615 West Fifteenth St. with visitation held two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings.� Pallbearers are Keith, Jeff, Mike, Ryan, Dylan and Luke Chamberlain.
