Edie Edythe Eleanor Jaeger

Edythe 'Edie' Eleanor Jaeger, age 85 of Hastings passed away April 8, 2008 at Augustana Health Care Center. Edythe was born February 8, 1923 in Aitkin, MN. She married Russell Jaeger September 8, 1959 in Milwakee, WI and resided there until 1980. Edie loved spending time with her family and was an avid football and baseball fan. Edie was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; parents, Seward and Esther Christensen; sister, Lorraine; brothers, Leland, Donald, Louis, Harris and Virgil. She is survived by her daughter Carole Bauer (fiance, Gary Meyers); son, Ted McMillan; grandchildren, Brea Dohman, Erica Bauer, Drey Bauer; great-granddaughter, Lillia Dohman; brother, Seward (Marie) Christensen Jr.; other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service was held Thursday April 10, 2008 at 5:00 pm at Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hastings. Private Interment.
