Duthiel M. Pinke

Duthiel M. (Eggers) Pinke, age 99 of Prescott, died peacefully on Monday afternoon, November 18, 2019, at Prescott Nursing and Rehab. Duthiel M., the daughter of Ernest "Pa" and Myrtle Eggers, was born on October 27, 1920. On March 21, 1941, Duthiel was united in marriage to Herman Pinke at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prescott, and they enjoyed sixty-four years of many memories prior to his passing on June 30, 2005. Duthiel was a longtime employee at Smead Mfg. Following her retirement, they moved from Prescott to Danbury, Wisconsin where they lived for twenty-five years, and eventually returned to Prescott to be closer to family. They enjoyed spending their winter months in Texas for many years as well. Duthiel loved playing cards, especially euchre, 500, and cribbage, and was a true Packer fan. She also enjoyed making many different types of crafts for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman; siblings, Marjorie Travis and Dwight Eggers; daughter and son-in-law, Judie and Donald L. Johnson; and recently by her granddaughter-in-law, Lisa Johnson. Duthiel is survived by her four grandsons, Lynn (Wanda) Johnson, Lonnie (Jeannie) Johnson, Donnie Johnson and Eric (Steph) Johnson; great grandchildren, Paul (Cassandra) Johnson, Pat (Anja) Johnson, Jennifer (Alex) Debbout, Megan Johnson, Becca Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Chris Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Tim (Kelsey) Johnson, Austin Johnson and Carly Johnson; great great grandchildren, Tessa and Makayla Johnson, Owen, Sierra, and Derick Johnson, Ruby Debbout, and Wesley Johnson; and by other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2019, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prescott, with Pastor Tim Rosenow officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Glen Cemetery in Prescott. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Casket bearers are her great grandsons, Paul, Pat, Ryan, Tim, and Austin Johnson. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
