Duane Richard Bissonnette

Duane Richard Bissonnette, 64, of Rosemount, passed away Sunday surrounded by his family, after complications with esophageal cancer. Duane was born August 16, 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Donald and Luverne (nee Hirt) Bissonnette. He is survived by son, Richard (Lacey); daughters, Catherine (Charles) Hawkinson and Sarah (Spencer) Bartl; granddaughter, Madelyn Hawkinson; father, Donald; and brothers, Charles (Carolyn) and Bruce (Cynthia) Bissonnette; several nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona; mother; and sister, Janet. Duane served his country in the United States Air Force, and his family by loving them unconditionally. He will be forever loved and missed. Visitation is scheduled for 1-4 PM Sunday, July 22 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley (952) 432-2331 and 1 hour prior to 11 AM Funeral Services Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, 16880 Cedar Avenue South, Rosemount. Interment with honors will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Faith Lutheran Church.
