Douglas W. Kirsebom

Douglas W. Kirsebom, age 53, of Hastings passed away unexpectedly at his home January 1, 2012. He was born and raised on a farm in Farmington, MN August 3, 1958 to his parents, Glen and Joan Kirsebom. A 1976 graduate of Cannon Falls High School, he was employed at Con Agra Center in Shakopee, MN for 23 years. Doug was an avid baseball player, liked golfing and fishing, enjoyed gardening and watching the Vikings and Twins games. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father, Glen. Douglas is survived by his daughters Sarah Kirsebom (Paul)and Nicole Kirsebom (Ben); two grandchildren Kylee and Kyle; former wife Tammie (Nei) Kirsebom; mother Joan Kirsebom; sister Donna Kirsebom; brothers Craig (Deena) Kirsebom and Jeff (JoAnn) Kirsebom; also many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, and cousins. The Funeral Service, officiated by Gordon Gathright will be held at 1 PM on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. The pallbearers are Craig Kirsebom, Jeff Kirsebom, Doug Jaworski, Dale Nei, Jesse Nei, and John Jamison.
