Douglas E. Weimer

Douglas E. Weimer, age 60, of Hastings, passed away at United Hospital in St. Paul after a lengthy illness. He was born in Trinidad, CO on February 22, 1956. Doug was a huge baseball fan. He was very involved in the CCVL and was a Past President of the Hastings Hawks. Many people will remember him for the many years he sold Hot Dogs at Vets Field. He is survived by his mother, Polly; brother, Greg; sister, Cindy; special friends, Ed Olson, Brenda (Gary 'Jeep') Stevens, Barb (Paul) Seleski, Shirley Matsch; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday (7/17) at 7:00 pm at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. A visitation will held 2 hour prior to the service.
