Dorothy M. Bauer

Dorothy M. Bauer, age 87 of Hastings died April 12, 2012 at Regina Nursing Home. Dorothy was born November 20, 1924 to Isador and Ophelia (Honl) Huberty in Hastings, MN. She married Jacob Bauer on Nov. 17, 1951 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings. Dorothy was an employee of Smead Manufacturing for 15 years. She was preceded in death by husband Jacob; sisters Cheryl Murtaughand Mary Catherine Knoll; brothers Isadore Hubertyand Charlie Huberty. Survived by siblings Barbara (Bill) Lundberg of Red Wing, Rita Murphy of Hastings and Jane Doorak of Hastings, Paul �Gus� (Mag) Huberty of Hastings; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers family requests memorials to American Heart Association. The Memorial Mass, officiated by Father Cole Kracke and Father Martin Siebenaler will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St. Hastings with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
