Age 89 of Minneapolis, born Sep. 28, 1922 in Minneapolis to Harry and Ruth Truwe, passed away peacefully August 26, 2012. Dorothy was very active with her church, Lebanon Lutheran, and spent much time volunteering her services. Her faith gave her much strength and courage. Dorothy had a successful career as Office Manager at Northern Waterway Terminal Inc. for 25 years. She is preceded in death by husband, George, with whom she enjoyed 60 years of marriage, and brother, Warren. Dorothy will be dearly missed by her children: George (Jackie) Antoine, David (Peggy) Antoine and Judy (Dave) Gavin; grandchildren: Lani (Mandy)Varela, Sam Gavin (fianc?e, Tamara), Sam Antoine and Natalie Antoine; and many nieces; nephews; family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 30, 2012 with visitation from 10 ? 11 am at Lebanon Lutheran Church, 2014 E. 36th St., Mpls. Dorothy will be laid to rest with her husband at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Lebanon Lutheran Church.
