Rayman-Johnson, Doris Louise, On Earth August 11, 1929 and in Heaven August 18, 2007. After a 19 year battle with breat/bone cancer and many complications, she passed peacefully at The Lodge on Summit in Burnsville, MN, with her daughters by her side. Doris lived at The Rivers Senior Living prior to her death where she used her God-given talents to entertain by playing piano, spreading humor and being an example of how a positive attitude can bring joy to others even during her time of ill health. Doris was born in Washington, D.C., grew up in Baltimore, MD, married, Henry Johnson Sr. and moved to MN. She was divorced in 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Rayman Jr. (Leona) and grandson, Thomas Person. Doris is survived by daughters, Sandra TePoel (Harvey) and Kathy Johnson (Gerald); son, Henry Johnson Jr. (Rodica); 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and brother, Robert Rayman. Doris will be greatly missed, but her spirist will live on in our hearts forever. Funeral service 12 noon, Saturday, Aug. 25 at Mary Mother of the Church, 3333 E. Cliff Rd., Burnsville, with her visitation Friday, Aug. 24 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett, Apple Valley. Interment at Annunciation Church Cemetery, Northfield, MN. Memorials to American Cancer Society, American Heart Assoc., or any battered women’s shelter.
