Doris L. Bays,
age 94 of Minneapolis, born September 30, 1916 in Glencoe, MN to Lars & Sophia Leifson, passed away May 28, 2011. She is preceded in death by loving husband, Bill; lovely daughter, Janet Rieth and 4 siblings: Everett Leifson, Marie Weber, Ella Swanson and Ruby Beihoffer. Doris will be dearly missed by her daughter, Bonnie (Ron) Jadwin; son-in-law, John (Pat) Rieth; grandchildren: Jason (Stacey) and Jesse (Sarah) Rieth and Matt, Mike and Nick Jadwin; great-grandsons: Kyle, Kory, Davin & Aric Rieth and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Doris will be laid to rest next to her husband at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery Friday morning, followed by a Memorial service at 3:00 PM Friday, June 3, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls, 5212 41st Avenue S., Mpls with visitation ? hour before. Memorials may be made to The Friendship Home Community or World Mission Prayer League.
