Dorian A. Rech

Dorian A. Rech, age 53, of Hastings, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his home.Dorian Alexander, the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Brownson) Rech was born in Hastings, Minnesota on July 20, 1962. He was a graduate of Hastings High School, class of 1981 and had worked in the construction industry his whole life. Dorian loved hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and snowmobiling.He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jeff and nephew, Brian Rech.Dorian is survived by his sister, Vicky (Timothy) Mayer of Hastings; nieces, Tammy (significant other Mike Wolken) Mayer of Hastings and Stacy (Chris) Kennedy of Hastings; nephew, Chris Rech; grand-nephew, Josh Wolken.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 201 East Seventh St., in Hastings, with Gordon Gathright officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Saturday morning. Private family interment will take place at a later date at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Cemetery.
