Doors Paul Kane

Paul 'Doors' Kane, age 75, of Hastings, passed away August 18, 2012 at United Hospital in St. Paul. He was born in Hastings on June 17, 1937 to Steven and Margaret Kane. He married Margaret “Margie” Kranz at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings on August 24, 1963. Doors is preceded in death by his father, Steven; and grandson, Ricky. He is survived by his wife, Margie; children, Kelly Berg; Tom Kane; Pete Kane; Katie (Chris) Rieder; and Jenny Kane; grandchildren, Abbie; Molly; Ellie; Alex; Alivia, Will; Clare; great granddaughter, Brooklyn; mother, Margaret; siblings, Bob (Judy) Kane; Pat Jorgensen; and Steven 'Butch' (Joey) Kane; other relatives and many, many friends. What will this world be without Doors? Heaven is in for a treat!!A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday (8/23), 10:30 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A visitation will be held on Wednesday (8/22) from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at church and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday. The interment will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery.
