Donna Mae Johnson

Donna Mae Johnson, age 83, of Hastings, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on December 3, 2012. Donna was born on May 13, 1929 in Ellsworth, Wisconsin to Paul & Verbena Boleen. She married LeRoy Johnson on June 6, 1947. She was a homemaker who loved gardening, sewing, baking, cooking and most of all her family and friends. Donna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy; infant son; step mother, Martha Boleen; 1 brother and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Debora (Jerry) Miller; Renee (Gary) Afdahl; Tammy Johnson, son, Timothy Johnson; grandchildren, Jessica Warner; Molly Linde; Anna (Scott) Johnson; Adam Johnson; Kristin(Tod) Causby; Brad (Kristin) Afdahl; Lori (Grant) Brinkman; great grandchildren, Mason; Owen; Evan; Blake; Taylor; Cole; Mallorie; Will; Drew; Amelia; Bo; Ian; sisters, Betty Ann Baker; Margaret (Rev. Edward) Erickson. A Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Greg Fondell, will be held Friday (12/7) at 11:00am at United Methodist Church of Hastings, 615 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation will be held Thursday (12/6) 4:00-8:00pm at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings, as well as one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Lakeside Cemetery.
