Donald Richard Scherer

Donald Richard Scherer, 66, of Rosemount, passed away Friday. He was born June 16, 1945 in Saint Paul to Richard and Lorraine (nee Rasmussen). Donald is survived by Sandra, his wife of 43 years, daughters Lisa (Greg) Burger, Michelle (Larry) Burger, Julie (Jeff) Rossmann, and Tiffany (Paul) Grunewald, grandchildren Amy, Breanna, and Isabella Burger, Lindsey Scherer, Andrew and Joshua Rossmann, and Austin and Elizabeth Grunewald, sister Janise (Gary) Skinn, nieces Cindy (Brad) Bachand and Keri (Joe) Tuccitto, and nephew Joe (Brooke) Skinn. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, April 25 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley (952) 432-2331, with visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday, April 24 and 1 hour prior to services. Interment with Honors will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials requested to the family.
