Donald Louden

Louden,Donald LeRoy age 91 of Hastings passed away February 3, 2008 at Regina Medical Center. He was born in Hastings to Walter and Carrie Louden on July 21, 1916. An avid hunter and fisherman, Donald was a lifetime member of the NRA and the Hunting and Fishing Club. He was the first member of the Water Patrol on the Mississippi in Hastings. He was a Police Officer and later worked in the Parks Department for the City of Hastings. He wed Ngaire on December 16, 2003 in Hastings. He is preceded in death by his parents. Don is survived by his wife, Ngaire 'Jerri' Louden; step children, Jamie (Mark) Schanus; Robert (Barbie) Simpson; and 7 step grandchildren. As a member of the Hastings Dakota Masonic Lodge #7, a Masonic Service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008 at the Wise Family Funeral Home. Memorials preferred to the Don Louden Memorial Fund, c/o Hastings Dakota Lodge # 7. The Wise Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. ww.wisefamilyfh.com
