Donald Lee Owen

Donald Lee Owen, age 74, of Cottage Grove, MN died Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Woodbury Health Care Center. Donald was born November 25, 1939 in Diamond Bluff, WI to William and Vesta (Poole) Owen. He was married to Patricia J. Reinardy August 3, 1957 in Northfield, MN. Pat preceded him in death in 2003. He was also preceded by his parents and a sister Ella Burmeister. Don is survived by his children Duane "Joe" (Julie) Owen of Cottage Grove and a daughter Lorie (Shaun) Sonterre of Avandale, AZ; grandchildren Linnette "Cricket", Renee "Tinker" and Sarah; great grandchildren Ella and Henry; sisters Shirley (Stan) Anderson and Jean (Fred) Witter. A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Basil Owen will be held 11 AM Friday, December 13 at Cottage Grove Cemetery, Cottage Grove, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
