Swenson, Donald L., age 89 of Bloomington.
Courageously battled Alzheimers and passed away peacefully on Aug. 18. He loved selling insurance for AAL over 40 yrs. Served in WWII. Preceded in death by wife of 45 years, Hazel; sister, Gladys Goetze and nephew, Lonnie Swenson. Survived by son, Robert (Ute); granddaughter, Samantha (Dennis) Rice; great-granddaughter, Chloe; brother, Norris (Maxine) Swenson; family & friends and Avis Swenson. Service Tues. 1PM, Christ Church Lutheran, 3244 34th Ave. So. Visitation Mon. 5-7 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. and 1 hour before service at church. Private Interment Ft.
