Johnsen, Donald J. age 77, of Mpls., passed away unexpectedly, Wed., March 7, 2007. Lifelong South Mpls resident and longtime 39 year employee of Mpls. Park and Recreation Board. Preceded in death by parents, Ben & Ann Johnsen; brother, Frayne Johnsen. Survived by Lourine, his wife of 50 years; children, Yvonne, David (Ann) and James; grandsons, Erik and Ryan; sister, Bernadine Lundeen; many relatives and friends. Memorial service, Monday 4 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. with visitation 1 hour prior. Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
