Donald J.H. Carlson

Carlson, Donald J.H., age 82 of Mpls. Born March 19, 1924 in Mpls., passed away March 20, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; son, Jeff (Robin); daughters, Kathleen (David) Reiners and Elise (Bob) Smude; grandchildren: Jack & Anne Smude, Jonathan Reiners; many relatives, friends and Dogs. Donald graduated from South H.S. in 1942. He entered the military and served in the 461st Bomb Group as a navigator, with 25 missions out of Italy. He graduated from the U of M as a Mech. Engineer and worked at 3M for 29 yrs. Funeral Service will be 4 PM, Thursday, March 23rd at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, 5760 Portland Ave. S., Mpls. Visitation will be 4-7PM, Wednesday, March 22nd at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. Interment 10AM, Friday, Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Diamond Lake Luth. Church, South High Foundation or Donor’s choice
