Donald H. Hanson, age 65, of Hastings, passed away at home on Oct. 3, 2011. He was born in St. Paul to Haaken and Eleanor Hanson on May 9, 1946. He married Patricia Droher on June 6, 1964 at St. Michaels.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Douglas; and son, Daniel. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia; daughters, Pamela (Kwen) Johnson; and Cynthia (Joe) Hartmann; grandchildren, Justine; Joshua; Ryan; Nathan; and Kayla; brothers, Gerald (Elsie) Hanson; and Dennis (Diane) Hanson; brother in law, Herbert Michael Droher; many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sat. (10/8) from 9:00 - 12 noon at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St. Hastings.
