Donald W. Glander, age 86, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on December 21, 2025.

Born on New Year’s Day 1939 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, to George and Marie Glander, Don dedicated over 50 years of his life as a technical draftsman, working on projects such as the Apollo Moon Lander and the first Space Shuttle. He retired from TSI Corporation after 33 years. He LOVED sports and was an avid Minnesota sports fan. He and his wife were also dedicated members of the Salem choir, where he spent 50 years expressing his faith through song.

Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; an infant daughter; his daughter, Bonnie; and his beloved wives, Joan (23 years) and Joan Marie (35 years).

He is survived by his children, Tom Glander, Pam Glander (Diane), Larry Ashton (Linda), and Rick Ashton (Lorie); five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

A Celebration of Don’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Salem Covenant Church, 2655 5th Street NW, New Brighton with a visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Salem Covenant Church.
