Donald E. Zeverino

Donald Edward "Don" Zeverino, Age 83, of St. Paul died May 7, 2014 at St. Johns Hospital, Maplewood. Don was born July 15, 1930 in St. Paul, MN, the youngest son of Joseph and Mary (Kowalski) Zeverino. He had served in the US Army during the Korean War and worked as manager of data processing for 43 years at Burlington Northern Railroad, prior to his retirement. He was an avid hunter, gardener and environmentalist, spending much time at his beloved cabin in the lakes region. Don lived his entire life in Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Agnes Becker, Mary Lanahan and brother Roy Zeverino. Don is survived by his sisters DelorusGlatzmaier and Dorothy Zauner; also many nieces and nephews. The funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. George Szews will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 10 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 269 Dakota St. South in Prescott, WI. Interment, with Military Honors provided by the Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post #1210 will follow in the parish cemetery.
