Preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Levonne; parents; granddaughter, Marie; sister, Doris. Survived by children, Stephen (Jana), David (Janice) and Lori (Mark) Thompson; grandchildren, Nicholas, Maren, Lucia (Ethan) Aufdembrink, Louis, Kristin and Erik Thompson; great-granddaughter, Sophia. Donald was a U.S. Army Veteran. Funeral at 11am on Tues., July 3, 2018 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.
