Donald C. Krippner, age 72, of Hastings died October 17, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul, MN.Hewas born July 5, 1937 inClaremont, MNto Alfred and Hazel (Drews)Krippner. Donald served in the U.S. Marine Corps and married Phyllis Gilman on May 21, 1961 in Mankato, MN. He was a 22 year employee of the Dakota County Sheriff's Department. His family and friends were very important to him, and he loved eagles and spending time on his computer.Donald was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Phyllis; daughters Dawn Zeman of Lakeville, Dana (Bryan) LaCroix of Burnsville, and Donnah Sismundo of Las Vegas, NV; also 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister Leeann Janke of Blooming Prairie and brother Dave Krippner of Rush City.A Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. James Bzoskie will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Cornerstone Bible Church, 735 East Tenth Street, Hastings with avisitation heldone hour prior to the service at church. Military honors will be provided by the Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post #1210
