Donald A. Paulson

Donald A. Paulson, age 78, of Hastings died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Donald Albert was born January 6, 1937 in Hastings to Albert and Louise (Meyers) Paulson. He worked for 45 years for Smead Manufacturing in Hastings retiring as a supervisor. He married Lorna Schultz January 9, 1988. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Joseph and a sister Delores. He is survived by his loving wife Lorna, his children Donald (Cathy) Paulson of Hastings, Deb (Chris) McCoy of St. Paul Park, Bob (Sue) Paulson of Ellsworth, WI, Danita (Mike) Bertram of Cottage Grove, Lisa (Wayne) Christen of Eagan, Tamra (John) Sarnstrom of Stacy, MN; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; siblings Bill Paulson, Alberta Brown, Ginger Meier and Judy Groth; also by numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service officiated by Rev. Doug Duin, will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11 AM at Our Saviour's Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West 9th St., Hastings, MN. There will be visitation at the church for 2 hours prior to the service on Tuesday.
