Waltz, Dianne Marie

Age 74 of Minneapolis, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021. Dianne was born on October 29, 1946 in Benson, MN to Curtis and Bertha (Hilde) Pracht. In 1968, she married Ronald Waltz. While they did not have children of their own, they adopted a daughter – Barbara.

Dianne had a passion for traveling to various state and county fairs. She also loved to garden. She was a collector of Elvis memorabilia and everything Minnesota sports team related.

Dianne was preceded in death by husband, Ronald Waltz; parents, Curtis and Bertha Pracht; sister, Delores Bellonger; brother-in-law, Leonard (Kathy) Walz; and niece, Dawn Bellonger. She is survived by her nieces, Leslie Pracht, Rosie (Marty) Van Otterloo and Renee (Todd) Cavegn; Godchildren, Stephanie and Matthew Ivey; and great-nieces and nephews, Natalie Cavegn, Emily Cavegn, Nathan Van Otterloo and Ethan Van Otterloo.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Dianne will be laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
