Desiree M. Turner

Desiree M. Turner, age 50 of Hastings died April 15, 2014 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Desiree was born August 19, 1963 to George and Joanne (Grittner) Turner. She was a 1981 graduate of South High School in Minneapolis. She deeply loved her grandkids and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Turner. Desiree is survived by her significant other Drew Hartwig; children Jason (Cassandra) Dworshak of Maplewood, Matthew Dworshak of Woodbury and Christopher (Michaela Jensen) Dworshak of Hastings; step children Josh, Logan and Alicia Hartwig; grandchildren Conner, Colby, Angeline and Carson Dworshak; parents Joanne (Wayne) Lewis of Nevis, MN and George Turner of Bloomington; brothers Chris Turner of San Francisco and Ryan Lewis of Rosemount; also other family and friends. The Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings with visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred.
