Derron Randall Hougardy

Derron R. Age 46, of Burnsville, MN formerly of Westlake Village, CA, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 27, 2008. Survived by loving wife of 19 years, Meredith; parents, Robert & Barbara Hougardy; brothers, Ronald (Marilyn) and Gary (Cynthia); sister, Deborah (Joseph) Valashinas; father-in-law & mother-in-law, John & Joan Munro; sisters-in-law, Diane Munro and Maya (Michael) Munro; nieces, nephews, friends and close colleagues of V.I. Engineering and General Dynamics. Derron was a positive, bright, intelligent, problem-solving coach and mentor who enjoyed animals, the outdoors and new adventures. He was a highly respected systems engineer and manager who always had a sunny disposition and a warm, quick smile. His love of life was unbounded. Memorial service 11 AM Friday, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, MN. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the MN Valley Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
