Derald A. Pedersen

Born September 20, 1940 in Lake Preston, SD to Harold & Pearl Pedersen, passed away
peacefully on August 30, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Joan Groon.

Derald will be deeply missed by his wife, Delma; children, Lauri (Randall) Haller and Valerie (Mike)
McClure; grandchildren: Ashley (Jackson) Melius, Brady Haller, (fiancée, Alyssa Hanson), Ryan
McClure and Katelyn McClure; siblings: Arden Pedersen, Robert Pedersen and Richard Pedersen, and
many other extended family members and friends.

As a husband, dad, papa, and friend, Derald epitomized the qualities of love described in 1 Corinthians,
chapter 13.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 23, 2024 with a visitation 12:00 noon at St. James Lutheran Church,
3650 Williams Drive in Burnsville.

Derald will be laid to rest at Lebanon Cemetery in Apple Valley at a later date.
